What inspired you to work in the tech industry?

I didn’t necessarily have a calling for a career in tech but coming from a working class background with limited technical experience I saw it as a challenge and with healthcare in the mix I knew it would be something that would be really rewarding and a career where you would actually feel like you are making a positive impact. The tech industry is constantly evolving and no two years are the same, the challenges in healthcare also change and new technologies need to be adopted to overcome them, before you know it 16 years have passed and you’re still here loving what you do.

A fun fact about you

I’m an amateur artist and enjoy drawing bees and other insects. I did have an online shop but since I became a mum I now spend my spare time building playmobil models, dressing up as The Hulk and talking to myself alot.
