Why are you proud to be part of the team at Aire Logic?

I really like the ethos and values at Aire Logic. The Aire Logic staff are all very friendly and there is a comradery and supportive bond which makes the company unique. The company is genuinely concerned about delivering technical solutions which suit the needs of health related organisations such as the NHS, hospitals, GPs, dentists.

What's a typical day like like for a Senior Business Analyst (at NHS Digital) at Aire Logic?

  • Answer emails – from NHS Digital stakeholders such as DSCROs, NCDR, Data Managers,
  • Answer Slack queries– from SUS Development Team eg Developers, Testers, ScrumMasters, Product Owner
  • Facilitate a product backlog refinement session
  • Data analysis for upcoming work – eg  Implementation of Commissioning Assignment Method Rules and Reference Data for 2020/21

Professional development seems to be a big thing for many people looking for a career move. How's Aire Logic set up for it? How does the company support your professional development and career growth?

AireLogic listens to its staff.  During my review period, I made a suggestion about my professional development which was listened to.  I then put a written proposal in place and took the necessary steps to implement it over a trial period.

What's the culture and environment/vibe like at AireLogic?

One of the best things about Aire Logic is the culture.  Great people with a sense of support and transparency amongst its staff.

What continues to motivate you working at here? What gets you up in the morning?

Tech in the health industry is at an exciting point in time.  The NHS is huge and complex, however, there have been comprehensive steps made in recent times to maintain integration and interoperability between different platforms, with the patient at the heart of the use case for whatever programme of work may arise.

What makes you feel valued? And how do you feel you can contribute to the bigger picture?

Someone saying “thank you” for a piece of work or for behaviour being exhibited.

What's one thing you would change about the company if you could?

The company is growing and maturing and with that comes the need to embed some processes and practices to ensure that we can continue to uphold a great service for our clients and support and develop our staff.  We need to make sure that we have the manpower to help do that.

What does success look like for you and how does that marry up with Aire Logic?

Personally, I want to maintain a good work/home balance.  Success for me is the ability to enjoy my work, have a degree of job satisfaction which brings a smile to my face when I am discussing it with others, either down the pub with friends or with my colleagues at work.

How do we celebrate success?

AL has a bonus scheme and an annual weekend away.
