How long have you worked in your role/s?

2.5 years at Aire Logic, 6 years in total, 30+ years in tech

What inspired you to work in the tech industry?

In the 1980s, I was a graphic designer, but I was intrigued to see 12-year-olds who were millionaires because they had written a computer game program. I thought I must be at least as good as a 12-year-old boy, and decided to take an evening class in BASIC programming. I found that I really enjoyed it and was good at it, so I gave up my job and enrolled on a full-time 12 week course, which got me my first job as a software developer. I can honestly say I have never regretted it, tech has been a brilliant career for me.

What do you like about working at Aire Logic?

The ethical stance of the directors spreads out to every part of the company – everything we do has to be good for healthcare, good for the staff and good for the company. I know I’m not going to get asked to work on a project that goes against my principles. Everyone at Aire Logic is super smart, really helpful and friendly.
